The Richest Man in Babylon is a 1926 book by George S. Clason that dispenses financial advice through a collection of parables set 4,000 years ago in ancient Babylon. The book remains in print almost a century after the parables were originally published, and is regarded as a classic of personal financial advice.

Coronavirus 2020
This year started with the left foot. Today, I just want to pray for all the losses... all the people who have died or gotten sick, not just due to the virus but for any other reason. Please GOD help us ALL get through this. Take care of us. Protect us. Amen.

The 10 Most Important Lessons I've Learned in My Career
- Know what you stand for--and what you don't. It gives you clarity. I stand for persistence, hard work, and never taking shortcuts.
- Don't rest on your laurels. Instead, always strive for something outside of your comfort zone.
- Believe in the power of failure. It's the best way to learn. Just remember to learn from your mistakes, and not to repeat the same ones.
- Trust your inner compass, even when the naysayers do not.
- Take the risk that takes you somewhere new. I changed my career at age 30 and started over. It took me to where I am today.
- Look back--but only to see how far you've come. You won't see your next step if you're constantly retracing your last one.
- Don't be afraid to do the unexpected. That nervousness you feel means you're growing.
- Remain humble--but let 'em know. It's great to give credit more than you take credit, but when it's your turn to own it, do that.
- Never stop learning, because it gives you courage. The more knowledgeable you are, the more comfortable you feel.
- A winner never quits--a quitter never wins.

Volleyball

Sé feliz, quiere y ayuda a tus prójimos,
Malas acciones, o haciendo daño a terceros
No hagas daño, no ganas nada
APRENDE A VIVIR
VIVE BIEN
QUIERE BONITO

ERES FELIZ?

Random
Three years ago, you were with me, the day my nephew was born. I guess I'll always think of you on his birthday. We woke up with the news that my sister in law was in labor.. I remember that day as if it was yesterday.

One year later
A year to heal and discover the new me.
A year to grieve... A year to embrace a lot of changes in my life.
I made it.
As I celebrate the one year anniversary of my divorce, I realize how giving away everything that reminded me of my ex was a great decision. It helped me to move on faster than what I thought. I realized that besides all the issues and obvious behaviors I disapproved of him, the main reason I chose to get divorced was because he didn't love me the way I wanted to be loved. See... I grew up in a family with values, who care, respect and love each other no matter what. I couldn't understand his way of "loving me" by being crazy possessive, jealous, and by cheating on me... to me that was not love. Maybe for him it was, maybe he grew up surrounded by those behaviors where love was supposed to be portrayed by someone (man or woman) putting up with infidelity and constantly forgiving all types of disrespectful behaviors. Maybe that's his meaning of love. But that's not mine. And I'm ok with that, I'm not sorry for being different or for being honest and respectful. I'm happy with who I am, and I'm happy for deciding to divorce my ex because at the end of the day, we wanted different things in life. This year was hard, because I actually really loved him... for good or for bad, he was the man of my dreams until I started to realize that he wasn't... and that I had made a mistake. But I learned. Now, I have more experience and finally can see the red flags.
Divorce was the right answer. It gave both of us another chance to find happiness elsewhere. There is no reason why someone should stay in an unhappy marriage, even if there are kids involved. You should always aim for happiness. I choose to be happy and have no regrets for that.
Time heals the wounds, forgiveness is possible and happiness is worth the struggle.

Friendship
FRIENDSHIP is: secretly giving people nicknames so only we know who we’re talking about. No need for explanations. Always knowing what the other is thinking. Comfortable silence. Long phone calls about nothing. Annoying each other and thoroughly enjoying it. Being each other’s therapists. Sharing every little detail about every little thing. The ability to talk nonsense and have that nonsense respected. Not being able to wait to tell each other stuff. Laughing, laughing, laughing, laughing and laughing. Forgiving each other no matter what. Conversations impossible for others to understand. A reassuring presence. A whole conversation with just one look. Never getting bored with each other’s blabber. Total certainty, total truth.

True love
True love doesn’t have a happy ending, because true love never ends. Letting go is one way of saying, “I love you.” You need to recognize the moment when things are not going to work out. The moment when the relationship becomes or is about to become toxic... and end it. End it, not because you don't love that person, but because YOU DO. Because you want to see him or her happy, even if it's not with you. Eventually, with time... the other person, one day, will understand that you did not give up, instead you struggled and suffered just to let him or her be happy. That's what true love is all about.

Something you should know
I didn't leave because I stopped loving you. I left because the longer I stayed the less I loved myself.

This has to stop
I need to stop thinking about you.. missing you.. telling random people about our story... about how much I loved you.. how much I miss you... and how much you broke me. I want to stop feeling heartbroken. I want to stop crying for everything that happened. This has to stop hurting. I need to heal. I need to start being happy. I don't know how to when it comes to you. I'm happy and blessed for my family and friends but when it comes to you I feel so sad. This pain has to stop.

Lo que más duele
Que me traicionaste y me heriste
Aunque yo no te haya hecho lo mismo
Que te perdoné
Aunque esas disculpas de corazón
Nunca llegaron
Aunque yo no te haya hecho lo mismo
Que te perdoné
Aunque esas disculpas de corazón
Nunca llegaron
